🐾 We're Launching an Ely Dog Field WhatsApp Channel! 🐾
After seeing how effective WhatsApp Channels have been for other small businesses, we've decided to set one up.
One of the challenges we have at Ely Dog Field is that cancellations often happen at very short notice, sometimes in the middle of the night or just a few hours before a booking. By the time we post on social media, many of you may not see the update until it's too late. 📱
We hear from so many of you that you often struggle to find a slot and would like to be notified of cancellations.
Our new WhatsApp Channel will allow us to quickly share:
✅ Last-minute cancellations
✅ Newly available slots
✅ General availability updates
✅ Important field updates and news
If you've never used a WhatsApp Channel before, it's not the same as a WhatsApp group. Channels are designed as a one-way broadcast, meaning only Ely Dog Field admins can post updates. Followers cannot see each other's phone numbers.
✨Following the channel is completely optional. You can join, leave or mute notifications at any time, and because it's a WhatsApp Channel rather than a group, your phone number isn't visible to other followers.
We think it could be a really useful way of helping more people grab those last-minute slots that might otherwise be missed and letting you know about important information such as road closures!
