Age is no barrier when it comes to learning. Older dogs are more than capable of developing new skills, improving behaviour, and enjoying training just as much as younger dogs.

While they may need a little more time, patience, and consistency, progress is absolutely possible with the right approach. Calm repetition, positive reinforcement, and clear communication can make a huge difference.

Other days might feel slower or like you’re going backwards. Both are completely normal and both are part of learning. Behaviour change is rarely a straight line - it’s more like a series of small steps that gradually build into something more reliable and confident.
