Rabbits are social animals. They need the company of another rabbit.🐰

A bonded companion gives your rabbit someone to groom, snuggle up to, eat alongside, and simply spend time with. Rabbits kept with a compatible companion can show fewer signs of stress and more natural social behaviours than rabbits kept alone.

But bonding isn’t as simple as putting two rabbits together. Rabbits are territorial, so introductions need to be done carefully, with both rabbits neutered and plenty of time and patience. A good rescue can often help you find a suitable companion and support you through the bonding process.

If your rabbit is currently living alone, it’s never too late to find them a friend. 🐰

Happy International Rabbit Day! 🐰

Today we're celebrating our long-eared
companions and reminding owners just how
important good rabbit care is.
Rabbits thrive with the right diet, plenty of space to exercise, companionship, regular health checks and yearly vaccinations to keep them happy and healthy.
If provided with everything they need, rabbits really do make wonderful pets!

Do you have a bunny at home?
We'd love to see them! Share a photo in the comments below ⬇️ 🐇

Just like us, our pets can be affected by seasonal allergens such as pollen, mould spores and dust mites - and autumn can bring its own triggers.

If your pet seems itchier than usual or you’ve noticed a change in their skin, paws or ears, don’t just put it down to the changing seasons. There are lots of ways we can help manage allergies and keep your pet comfortable.

Not sure if allergies could be bothering your pet? Speak to us. 💙

As our pets get older, some changes can be easy to put down to “just getting old”. But changes in their health, behaviour or mobility can sometimes be signs that they need a little extra support.

We’re always here for them. Whether you’ve noticed something different or simply want some reassurance about your pet’s changing needs, our veterinary team is here to listen, check them over and help you understand what’s normal and what may need a little more attention.

Because getting older is a part of life - but your pet doesn’t have to navigate it alone. 🐾💙
