Good afternoon everyone. Just to let you all know that the works by Scottish Water have now been completed and the usual road to us is now open again. No diversion required ! Please do get in touch if you have any questions at all, otherwise we shall see you soon!

Hi everybody. The road to Moss Croft from the A90 will be closed all next week (24th to 29th August) for works by Scottish Water. The new temporary route to us will be a signposted diversion and will likely be via the Pittlurg / Collieston Road. I will endeavour to contact each of our affected customers the night before with a refresher of the directions for the new route. Please allow a bit of extra time for the diversion.

What3Words – Flow.Cure.Yachting
Postcode – AB41 8JZ (please put Moss Croft and the postcode into Google Maps otherwise you will arrive at the neighbours)

From the A90, turn right on to the Pittlurg / Collieston Road from the south (left if coming from the north) and drive exactly 1.5 miles. Take the left turn signposted to Bogbrae and travel 0.9 miles then turn right on to our approach track at the wheelie bins.

Look forward to seeing you soon !

It's been a very busy but productive week. Big hole dug, inspectors in (very good inspectors, my girls), shuttering in and foundations poured. Ready to go on Monday for Alan's team, then William gets a turn and starts building the walls of the pool mid-week (ish), weather permitting! Have a great weekend, everyone! 😃

We are all incredibly proud of this young lady !! Beth started at the kennels at age 14, one month after we opened, so has been here since the beginning. The team has watched her journey over the past four years, the highs and the lows, and could not be happier for the successful completion of her BSc in Animal Behaviour. She will remain with us at the kennels while also growing her own business, Creighton's Canine Services, and we look forward to working with her as she develops her own professional identity. Well done Beth from all of us here !! 👩‍🎓😀

We haven't posted a blog on our website recently but Beth has just written a really good one on feeding. So please feel free to have a read of that, particularly if you have a fussy eater 🤞

*** VERY EXCITING NEWS ***

Happy Sunday to everyone! For those with better memories than mine, in my Christmas 2025 message, I promised you all some exciting news in 2026. It’s taken a little bit longer than we hoped but we now have all the permissions and will shortly begin building a brand new, purpose-built Canine Hydrotherapy Facility at Moss Croft Country Kennels. Following an amazing experience with one of my own dogs with Tracey Jones at Fusion Vet Physio in March last year, I found myself wanting a pool, not only for my own dogs, but also to be able to make a real difference to dogs as Fusion did for Abbey.
Alan Stuart will be commencing works this coming week. He and I have been building together for over 7 years now and his skill, experience and expertise will again bring something special to this project. William Booth at Aquality Leisure is building the pool and has a great deal of experience with pools of all kinds, including for canine hydrotherapy. Finally (for now) Debbi Keatings at Kirkwood Homes is supplying the timber frame building for us, so a great team of suppliers who will lead the charge with our other contractors to follow in the coming weeks.
Kennel team member Jessica and I are continuing our training for the Level 3 hydrotherapy qualifications with Tracey and hope to have those finalised around the end of the summer. In addition, another kennel team member, Karen Murray, and her partner Simon Price of Firstpix Photography will be documenting the build with time-lapse, drone and still photography so we have a wonderful record of this exciting addition to the kennel adventure.
Stay tuned and I’ll post some updates as we progress through the build !! Take care and have a great week.
Sarah and the Team
