Test Your Endoscopy Knowledge!

You are presented with an overweight Beagle who has a chronic cough. Initial haematology and biochemistry testing is unremarkable, and the dog is clinically bright and happy when not coughing. The dog is treated for lungworms. Chest radiographs are unremarkable so you perform a bronchoscopy. The bronchoscopy is largely normal apart from increased mucus in the lower airways, and your bronchoalveolar lavage sample is compatible with moderately increased numbers of macrophages, lymphocytes and non-degenerate neutrophils. Bacterial culture is negative.

Our 2026 PgCert in Emergency Practice cohort enjoyed their Module 1 practical sessions at the CPD Solutions Training Centre last week.

Behind the scenes on our Practical Abdominal Ultrasound Level 2 course 👀

This two-day intermediate level course is designed for vets who already have some ultrasound experience and want to build confidence scanning more challenging abdominal structures.

Delegates spend plenty of time practising hands-on scanning, with focused teaching on the GI tract, lymph nodes, pancreas, adrenal glands, ultrasound-guided sampling and more.

🥳Exciting Update!🥳

Our PgCert in Small Animal Surgery has been approved by the RCVS as an eligible qualification towards Advanced Practitioner Status!

This approval is an important development for veterinary surgeons seeking practical, university-validated postgraduate training with a recognised route towards further professional recognition. We are working with the RCVS to submit our PgCerts in other subject areas approved as well, so stay tuned.
