Oops - forgot to post this earlier…Birnie’s last Monthly Monday Off of the year is this coming Monday (26th October) as we are busy prepping and making our own Christmas Range throughout November & December 🎄 his Mondays off will return in February 2027 👍

Closed this Monday, back open Tuesday…open tomorrow (Friday) 10am - 4.30pm & 10am - 4pm on Saturday if you need anything 🐾

For anyone new to the shop or unaware of Birnie’s Monthly Mondays Off…

Birnie usually takes *ONE* Monday a month off (nae every Monday), the one before pay weekend, it’s usually the quieter one which will inconvenience the least amount of customers🤞

He worked 7 days a week for nearly 30 years, with a rare day off, having your own business can mean there’s never a proper day off, however after 2020, we felt it was time he put himself first & takes a free day once a month to enjoy a decent break with the Sunday & Monday off together - everyone needs down time - thank you for understanding 🧡

As ever, we’d appreciate if you could SHARE this post to help let folk know the shop will be closed this coming Monday 🙌

We give plenty prior notice each month to remind folk which Monday the shop’s closed, we also put a notice in the window for anyone not on social media 😊

Thanks for supporting Birnie’s Pet Shop 🫶 we’re both so grateful for all your loyal support 🙌
