🐴 POLE WORK CLINIC – WEDNESDAY 19TH AUGUST 🐴

After such a great evening at our last Pole Work Clinic, we’re doing it again this Wednesday! 🙌

Pole work is brilliant for all levels – whether you want to:

✨ Build confidence with your horse or pony
✨ Improve rhythm, balance and straightness
✨ Work on your horse’s way of going
✨ Add something different to your training
✨ Or simply have some fun while progressing together!

You absolutely don’t need to be experienced – sessions can be adapted to suit both horse and rider, from poles on the ground upwards.

📅 Wednesday 19th August – afternoon into evening

Groups will be put together according to ability and confidence level.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Pole Work Clinic last week – it was a brilliant evening and lovely to see so many of you! 💚
The earlier groups definitely picked the right times… unfortunately our last two groups (and Les! 😂) weren’t quite so lucky and got absolutely soaked to the skin! 🌧️🐴 Thank you for sticking with it and keeping smiling!
☀️ The good news is the forecast is looking amazing for this Wednesday! 🤞☀️

If you’d love to start but aren’t quite confident enough yet, we can begin with poles on the ground and simply riding between the wings, gradually building from there at a pace that suits you and your horse or pony.

Perfect if you want to:

🐎 Start jumping for the first time
💚 Build or regain confidence
⭐ Improve rhythm, balance and technique
🏆 Prepare for upcoming competitions
😊 Or simply have some fun while progressing together!
For those already jumping confidently, we’ll tailor the session to your level too – all abilities are very welcome.
📅 Wednesday 12th August – afternoon into evening

Good day out at Turriff Show, both boys jumped well! 1st place and Overall Reserve Working Hunter Champion for Shadow and a 2nd place for Oscar, a really good clear but the pony and traps lit up his show a little 😂
Well done to Caitlin placing 2nd and 3rd in her hunter classes and also qualifying for London with her win at Perth Show on Friday 🤩
Thanks to Jesse for taking Dixie along to keep Shadow company in the box, and to Sherlene for plaiting and marking.
A big thank you to Kimberley for changing at short notice and piloting Oscar in the championship, much appreciated!
Nice to be out locally having some fun without a huge journey and catching up with lots of friends we haven’t seen for a while 😍

Oscar jumped a super clear in his class, a little lit up in his show when the pony and traps arrived, finishing 2nd place. He’s delighted to only have an hour or so drive home 😍
