Buddy update! He has a large swelling around his mouth/ neck area which is very uncomfortable and just appeared overnight. I can’t bare to share pictures of him as he looks very sad so here’s a cute picture of him and Shiloh from last week instead 🥰

The vets are sedating him tomorrow morning to get a better look at what’s going on as today’s examination hasn’t given any indication as to what is causing it.

This means there may still be changes to my diary this week. If your training session is going to be affected, I will contact you right away to reschedule 😊

Thank you everyone for your kind words, well wishes, and offers of help. I’m very lucky to have a great circle of people around me. Replies and admin will still be delayed but I’ll be slowly making my way through them. Just focusing on being present with my boy right now 🖤🐾

Last week, the world lost a true gem of a dog. This is a tribute to Peli, the dog who started it all for me 🖤

Peli was the first dog I worked on with my mentor Sue, he’s been in my life since before Buddy was even born. I loved him just as much as I have all of my own dogs. He has taught me so much over the years due to that quirky personality of his. He also played a huge part in raising my Buddy who has always worshipped the ground Peli walked on but Peli didn’t always feel the same way 😆

The pictures and videos of him with a puppy Bud got me very emotional I won’t lie 🥹 Despite the sadness of saying goodbye, I feel honoured to have been a part of this boys life for 11 years. He had lovely owners and has lived a wonderful life! He had the biggest personality, very strong opinions and the kindest soul.

I was very lucky to have had time to say goodbye to him, my last memory of him is the two of us lying on the grass in his garden while I fed him chicken- his favourite 🥰

Fly high my boy, we’ll meet again some day 🐾 🪽
