Salary: £27,975 per annum, pro rata (Actual salary: £22,380 for 4 days per week) each to start, with the potential to increase. All members of staff are paid the same hourly rate, and the minimum hourly rate will increase in line with the Real Living Wage.

Hours and work pattern: 32 hours a week for each farmer. Very occasional evening/weekend work, that can be offset by TOIL.

Contract length: Permanent positions, with 6 months probation.

Valid driving licence and indefinite right to work in the UK is essential. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor worker visas.

Check out these holiday offerings available now from our online shop ✨🎁🌙

We're taking it a little easier this season, so quantities are very limited but the nice news is that we have lowered our prices to make things more accessible for folk who (like us) might be feeling the pinch.

Head on over to our shop to take a gander and grace us with your monies if you want! We've got some quality stuff in there and every purchase supports our mission to decompose fascism with help from our fungi and worm friends 🍄🪱😘

🗳️ How to Vote below ⬇️

Help us pickle, preserve and process together! Our shared processing hub would significantly reduce waste and increase the amount of locally-grown food and plant medicine we can offer from the farm. It will also dramatically increase our ability to save and share seeds, and give us space to run food and seed preservation workshops for you. This is another step in rebuilding a local food system, by and for the community. If you live in Edinburgh, we need your support to make it happen…

🗳️ Here’s what to do:

Step One:
Become a member of Edinburgh Community Climate Action Network
(if you’re not already). It’s free and open to anyone in Edinburgh who wants to be part of community-led climate action in Edinburgh:

www.eccan.scot/join-eccan

Step Two:
Read the entries in each category - there are amazing projects across the city that all deserve support:

www.eccan.scot/greenlightvoting

Step Three:
Use your registered email to vote. There are five categories and you need to pick your top three in each category. It takes a little time, but there are so many worthwhile projects to support - please browse all the great entries in each category.

We are asking for your votes...

In Category A, vote for application A7 (us!) plus your other two picks

In Category B, you can support our partners along the road at Granton Community Gardeners to extend their community meals and workshops programme (vote for B12)

In Category D, you can support Bridgend Farmhouse and Rhyze Mushrooms to teach more people how to re-use kitchen and cafe waste to grow mushrooms (vote for D3)

VOTING OPEN UNTIL 29th AUGUST 5pm!
