We’ve been taking excellent care of local pets since 2010, and believe that every patient and client deserves a friendly, personal and professional service. We provide continuity of care - we aim that you will see the same vet for check-ups and we give honest, open recommendations which suit your individual needs and budget. Our practice is well equipped to do most tests, treatments and surgery on site, providing quick appointments and results, to give you peace of mind. We can also advise on a full network of referral services, if your pet needs specialist care. Here are some top tips to help ease pet anxiety during this season 🐱🐶❤️

🐾 Walk dogs before it gets dark and keep them on a lead.

🐾 Keep pets indoors and close windows and curtains to reduce noise and flashes.

🐾 Put on the TV or some calming music to help mask the sound of fireworks.

🐾Create a cosy, safe space where your pet can hide away if they feel scared.

🐾Make sure cats are safely indoors and that microchip details are up to date.

🐾Stay calm and offer comfort if your pet seeks reassurance.

After 16 years with us, we’re saying a very sad farewell to our wonderful RVN, Rachel and her furry companion Chief ♥️🐾

Over the years, Rachel has been such a valued member of our team, caring for our patients and supporting their owners. She has been a familiar and friendly face to so many of our clients and their pets.

And of course, we can’t forget her very special work companion Chief! He has been a much-loved member of the practice too, providing some much-needed four-legged therapy over the years! 🥰🐾

Thank you for everything you’ve given to the practice over the years. You’ll be hugely missed by the whole team, and we wish you every happiness and success in this next chapter 👩🏻‍⚕️♥️

Hot pavements can also burn sensitive paw pads in just seconds. 🐾
