Last Thursday was this beautiful wee, furry nutcase's 5th Birthday! 🩵🎉

I'm ashamed to say that life has been so full on, it completely passed us by 😞

With the recent hot weather, he did at least get his beach trip on Monday night, although I suspect he feels that's nowhere near adequate compensation...

He's an absolute superstar, my inspiration for starting this whole thing, and deserves all the love!

Five years of chaos, adventures, laughter, and plenty of singing. Happy Birthday, Noki boy! 🐕🐾

Now if you'll excuse me, I apparently owe a husky a crème brûlée and a few extra birthday boy butt scratches 🎂😂

Ted ted had a fantastic walk with me yesterday, we've been working solidly on his recall around distractions recently and he's getting there!

We're onto that final push to proof him around other dogs (and squirrels of course), which is the hardest part for any dog, but Ted is doing amazing.

A big part of this, is impulse control, so we've also been working on this separately - that's a key part that most people miss!

Yesterday I found this fantastic fallen tree and began with basic confidence building exercises, building up to a wait and Ted did great for his second ever try of this! The photo was taken on a split second, but that second is out first big win!

Well done wee man, keep at it! 😁🐾

Me and Blossom had a lovely walk on Wednesday morning. The birds were singing, the rain held off, and there were loads of great sniffs to be sniffed! 🐾🐦

We came round a blind corner at one point and bumped into a group of volunteers working in the glen, so I immediately moved Blossom over to one side to let everyone pass. She stood quietly beside me on lead the whole time while I tried to reassure the group that she was friendly.

As they walked past, one guy decided to throw in an “aye, I’ve heard that before” over his shoulder.

Honestly, it did upset me a bit, because Blossom was doing absolutely everything right. Calm, polite, and simply standing patiently letting people pass like the good girl she is 🩷

Thankfully the rest of the group were all smiles and happy to see her — which she thoroughly enjoyed! Just a shame one passing comment managed to put a dampener on our otherwise lovely walk 🐾

Bella had a fantastic couple of walks over the last Weeks!

I've been working on building her confidence back up around travelling recently, and last week we made a very short trip up the road to Liberton park, followed by a slightly longer trip over to Mortonhall garden centre. 🌲

She was absolutely fab both trips, loaded herself into the crate, and on the second walk we did a full loop without stopping once! 🐾

The weather has been cooler, we've done lots of training and she saw some friends and new smells! 🐕

Finally, she also met Claire who will hopefully be walking her in the future! 💛

Well done Princess Bella! 👑
