🌟MEET THE NEW TEAM MEMBERS🌟

🌟Kieran, veterinary surgeon🌟

Kieran hails from Northern Ireland. He graduated from UCD in 2017 and began his career in a small animal clinic in his home town. He then moved to Monaghan, Ireland where he worked as a mixed animal vet for 8 years, before moving to Edinburgh and joining the team at Thistle. He enjoys the variety of general practice, but his main area of interest is surgery. In his spare time Kieran enjoys exploring the Scottish countryside, socialising with friends and getting stuck in on his family’s beef farm when the chance arises.

How to keep your pet safe this Halloween 🍁🎃👻

Halloween is fast approaching and it's important to remember the dangers for your pet at this time of year 🐈‍⬛

🎃Keep chocolates, sweets and decorations well out of reach of your pet
🎃Make sure candlelit pumpkins are away from paws, noses and waggy tails and never leave your pet unsupervised with one
🎃It can be tempting to dress your pet up in a cute costume but remember this can make them stressed
🎃If you get a lot of trick-or-treaters coming then think about leaving a bowl of goodies outside your front door if possible (raised away from other animals of course) as the constant sound of the doorbell may also stress your pets
🎃Try and walk your dog while it's still daylight before all the trick-or-treaters come out

Happy Halloween! 🦇
