Edinburgh Cat Protection League is a small independent registered charity (SC054757) formed to help cats & kittens whose owners are no longer able to care for them. We are a stand alone, self-funding Scottish Charity dedicated to the rescuing and rehoming of cats. Edinburgh Cat Protection League is registered as a Charity in Scotland No SC054757 and is regulated by OSCR the Scottish Charity Regulator. The charity is a company limited by guarantee registered with Companies House No SC869974.

And in celebration, we're introducing Peter!

Peter is a 6 year old neutered boy who is looking for a quiet indoor home. He could potentially live with another cat but cannot live with children.

He's an incredibly sweet boy who is desperate for cuddles. He's a bit shy at first but once he's comfortable with you, he's very affectionate.

Peter is looking for:
❤ A quiet home with no children
❤ Someone who understands cat behaviour
❤ Someone to cuddle and play with

💞 ADOPT RAGNAR 💞

Ragnar is a 10 year old neutered boy looking for his new home. He came in as a stray, so would like outdoor access again. He could live with another calm cat and cat savvy children over 12 years old.

He loves silvervine and catnip toys, comfy igloo beds, and affection on his terms. He also loves scratch posts and going around in circles around them!

He'd like a new family that understand cat behaviour and who will play with him and give him the love he deserves.

We've had a lovely update about Kylo and Diesel, now named Gimli and Bruce!

They came into the shelter separately and struck up a lovely friendship and were rehomed together.

They've settled in wonderfully to their new home and are now cuddling up on the sofa 💞
