My second session with the very handsome GSD Nico today.

He has history of jumping up and mouthing for attention and when he gets amped up in anticipation of walks.

As soon as I walked in to greet him this afternoon the first thing he did was sit! We didn't ask him to sit. He just offered it. That's a sign you have a great dog and guardians on your side.

Today we worked on some calm behaviours, not using his 40 kilos of power to get to where he wants to be, and to learn that just because there are other dogs or people in the vicinity, his human can be a really cool anchor to check in, and be with.

Can't wait to build on that in our next session.

J. ❤️

****Brand new class for 2023!****

Home Helpers

Home Helpers is a unique class. Fun but with a serious outcome.

Heather Dunn, Service Dog Coach, is using behaviours used in the service dog world to teach foundation tasks. These include-

1. Retrieving various objects and bringing them to you, no more getting up from the sofa!
2. Tidying up their toys, or even better, tidying up after you!
3. Ever fancied a bell boy? Well, your dog will learn to open and close doors on cue.
4. Removing your socks for you! Even putting them in the washing basket too!

Although these are tasks used in the service dog community this is a class for pet dogs, this will not mean your dog is a service dog! Although, if that is something you are looking for you can always move on towards that.

This class is on a Friday and will start on 10th February 2023 @ 5.30pm.
Class Contains 4 students.
The cost of the course is £150.00 and the training lasts for 6 weeks.

To secure your place simply e-mail [email protected] or [email protected] for details of how to registar.

He's such an entertaining boy to work with!

The lovely Dougal and his guardians are doing our amazing online puppy training programme. They have also enlisted some 1-2-1 training to polish up and tailor their experience.

Newsflash: for anyone that sees a Golden Retriever and stores the wish to get one... They're goof balls. But in the best possible way! And Dougal is no exception. Cute and bonkers rolled into one. He's an amazing learner. But we need to work to his attention span and love of life and exploring.

How dapper do these two look?!

Absolutely gorgeous, more happy customers 😃😃

“Hi Dawn,

I just wanted to share a few photos of the coats, collars and leads on my greyhounds, Lily and Brandy. Thank you for creating these for us and being willing to create bespoke ones! I think they look great! I’ll certainly be in touch if I they need more in the future (or if I get more greyhounds 😆).”
