Wednesday's Walks + Zuko's first Playdate

I miss the sun
I miss the sleep

Our vet has given us the all clear to socialise Zuko with healthy fully vaccinated dogs, so there was no better choice than Rocco. The most bomb proof Explorer who will just ignore the very existence of a puppy and just stand there patiently waiting for my treats and attention 😆

Oscar turned 5 yesterday and was kind enough to give some of his leftover birthday liver cake to the other Explorers so they all better be extra nice to him for the next few days 🎂🐶

In Puppy diaries Zuko got his 1st vaccinations this evening and our vet has given the all clear for him to have healthy, fully vaccinated dogs come visit for socialisation so keep an eye out for a potential invite Explorers! 🏡 Swipe to the end for pupdates

Turns out Zuko and I have similar small bladders so we will be running on very little sleep for the foreseeable future 🫩 Shout out to all the new mum's out there, no clue how you run on so little Zzzzs

His naughty side has definitely started to show today but it's early days with lots of training still to do 😆 just know that I am running on very little brainpower this week

Junior Wilderness Explorer reporting for duty
🐶🌲🧭

He's possibly my worst kept secret but yesterday morning we travelled over by ferry to Dunoon to pick up the newest addition to the Todd family. It's only been a day but I'm head over heels in love with him. He's so incredibly clever and has already brought so much happiness to our home in just a day. Just got to get him added to the van alongside Scout

He won't be fully vaccinated until July but as soon as he's ready and old enough he'll be coming along with me to meet all his new friends! In the meantime I may need to borrow some of the Explorers for some safe garden socialisation so he can learn all the important manners before joining the pack.

Sorry in advance for how many videos and photos there will now be of Zuko from now on 😂

Friday's Walks

Very late to posting tonight as I've been super duper busy puppy proofing the house and trying to get everything set up for tomorrow!!!

Invoices have all been sent out tonight for May but I may be delayed to responding to any messages over the weekend and will be running on very little sleep for the coming weeks 😖

Only 1 more sleep to go 🐶👶🏼

An Ode to Oonagh. Protector of the garden, master sock thief, giver of unlimited kisses and so far the only boarding dog to let us sleep in past 6am 😝
Some highlights of her time staying with us last week. Absolutely loving having all these dogs stay with us. We'll be taking a short break over June but we'll be back to having guests as soon as someone special is settled in.

Definitely feeling it in the quads today 😖

Todd's tyre troubles are back but I'm being proactive and getting a new one fitted tonight before it ends up as a flat 🫠 Learnt a lot about tyre pressure and PSI in the last week tho!

Monday's Walks
We had a few dogs off for the bank holiday so I smooshed together my morning group. Luckily it gave me some more time to rest my legs after the half marathon as well 🏃🏼

It was a sweltering day so we did a lot of loitering in the shade and less walking to make sure the Explorers stayed cool enough ☀️ Can't lie I love this kind of weather though, bring on more sun!
