I had the pleasure of a visit from one of the rarest terrier pups, a Glen of Imaal, the other day. He’s 5 months old and came in to have the bulk of his puppy fuzz handstripped. They are a rustic breed and should look tousled and natural, even when groomed. He was incredibly calm for such a young dog. “Before” pic is the first one.

NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

Hello folks.

The shop has been open for nearly 24 years and I’m now experiencing another wave of clients losing their elderly dogs. It’s incredibly sad as I build up a rapport and relationship with both the dogs and the owners. It means that I have a few spaces to take on new clients, so if you know anyone who is getting a puppy or is looking for a new groomer I’d be very grateful if you could point them my way . Any wire, wool or drop-coated dog under 13kg will be most welcome. Please feel free to share this post

I’m now closed until 13th May to recharge my flagging batteries in the sun. I’ll respond to any messages when I get home.

Let the (very last-minute) packing begin!

Hey folks
Hey lovely customers.

Just a message to say I am closing for a fortnight’s holiday on Sat 25th April and only have a few free appointments before I go. Message me if your woolly mutt needs a spring shearing!

Happy New Year
What an unusually marked dog! He was very good for his first trim.
