Moggyminders is looking for an assistant.

If you love cats and would like to get paid for looking after them then this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

I need an assistant on a casual basis, helping out at weekends and covering my holidays. It would suit an active retiree/ part retired person best as the work is seasonal and I cannot guarantee how many, if any, visits I can give you each week. However anyone is more than welcome to apply,

You must -

Have your own car/van. The work cannot be carried out by bike or public transport.

Be totally reliable and very flexible.

Ideally be situated in the west of Edinburgh like myself. Keys have to be picked up/ dropped off to me and a lot of my clients are in this area.

The position is self employed and the rate of pay is £9 per visit.

SUMMER 2022

I’m now fully booked for the period 2 July to 4 August inclusive.

If you are a regular client and need visits during this time please contact me to see if I have any cancellations.

However I’m on my own holidays from 19 July to 4 August inclusive and my assistant Kirsty is covering for me. I think I’ve told everyone who is effected. Also I won’t be replying to emails, messages etc during that period.

It’s almost unknown for me to holiday in July but my husband has a big birthday then.

CHANGES TO SERVICE/PRICES

Prices

From 1 Dec the cost of a single visit is increasing to £10 and the double visit to £18.

This is due mainly to escalating fuel price

Service

Over Christmas and New Year only single, morning visits will be offered on the following days

24/25/26/27/31 Dec

1/2 Jan

Normal price will apply EXCEPT 25/26/31 Dec and
1 Jan when the cost is doubled to £20 per visit.

Bookings are now being taken for the Festive period
