🐾 Industry Insight at Balerno High School 🐾
Nurse Chloe and Vet Rhiannon recently had the pleasure of visiting Balerno High School to take part in an Industry Insight Session with S4–S6 students interested in veterinary and animal-related careers 🩺
It was fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic students and chat with them about the wide range of careers within the industry, as well as the different options and pathways available to them.
We were able to share some of our own experiences, answer questions and hopefully give the students a little more insight into what a career working with animals can look like 🐶🐱🐴
A huge thank you to the school for inviting us and, most importantly, to all the students who came along, asked such great questions and showed such enthusiasm for the industry 💜
We were delighted to receive this lovely feedback from the school:
"It was a really fantastic session which was so informative and full of top-quality, personal advice for the future for these pupils who are exploring their options. Thank you for sharing your experiences, your passions and your expertise in this way."
It was a real pleasure to be involved, and we hope our conversations have helped inspire some of the next generation of people looking to build a career in the veterinary and animal industries! 🐾
