Police in Edinburgh discovered an unattended dog trapped inside an apartment without food or water after neighbours reported hearing the animal howling loudly.
Officers from Police Scotland arrived at the property in the Duddingston area on August 27, 2026, following welfare concerns. Upon entering, they made the grisly discovery of a flat covered in f***s, where the dog had been abandoned for four consecutive days.
