Fergus! 🧡

Fergus has been with me since day one, five years ago, and I honestly don’t think we’ve ever had a bad walk! He’s the sweetest, friendliest wee boy who gets on with absolutely every dog he meets.

He’s not usually out with me as it’s normally the other half of the team who walks him, but I had the pleasure of having him myself this week, and it reminded me just how much I love this little guy. Thought it was about time he got his own shoutout!

Well done Fergus, five years and counting! ☺️

Nyla! 🧸

Nyla has always been such a well-behaved, polite little girl, but I’ve noticed recently that she’s really come on leaps and bounds!

Since mixing up her groups a little, she’s been so good with all the different dogs and has been really patient when I ask her to wait or listen. She’s just generally been such a good girl and it’s been so nice to see!

Well done Nyla Bear, you’re doing so well 🤎

Invite | A new dog park to add to our list of favourites? 🤭

We were kindly invited to try and what a great afternoon we had! Lots of running, playing and digging in the sand pit, in a fully enclosed, peaceful setting. 🌲

Located right on the outskirts of Edinburgh, so the perfect way to escape the busy city life and enjoy the views.

Safe to say the Do-good Dogs gang had an absolute ball! 🤩🐾

Dog of the week this week had to go to this little rockstar, Erik 🖤

You’ve probably seen this guy on my socials, or maybe out and about! (He is VERY popular). I’ve been doing lots of walks with Erik over the last few weeks, building up to this week while his mum & dad have been enjoying a little break away, and I honestly couldn’t have loved getting to know him more.

Despite his disability, Erik is quite simply the happiest wee guy you’ll ever meet. He just needs a little extra help when it comes to going to the toilet, which is something we’ve been practising together 🥹.

Erik has taught me so much already, especially about patience, understanding and seeing the world a little differently. Being out and about with him has also made me realise just how difficult some of our streets can be to navigate in wheels, with bins, scaffolding and signs often blocking pavements.

So take this as your little reminder to bring your bins in, keep pavements clear and think about who might be coming around the corner. You never know who’s trying to get through ❤️
