💔 ONE FINAL PUSH FOR FRANK. PLEASE, WE NEED PEOPLE TO LISTEN. 💔
We honestly don’t know what else to do.
We have taken the time to contact SIX DIFFERENT APPLICANTS about carrying out a home check for Frank. Six opportunities for this boy to finally find somewhere safe to call home.
And yet, here we are again. Nothing has materialised, and once again, we have been left being ignored.
Behind every dog in rescue is a team of real people. People with families, jobs, children, their own animals and their own struggles. We are a tiny team of volunteers who give up our time, energy and often our own peace of mind to help dogs who have nowhere else to turn. We do this for free because we care.
But we cannot keep going like this. 💔
We cannot keep fighting battles on every front while the dogs who desperately need us are left waiting. We cannot keep putting everything we have into finding homes when applications go nowhere and people simply disappear.
Frank needs a foster or forever home URGENTLY.

🐾 EVERYONE, MEET FRANK. 🐾
Frank was born into Breeds in Need on Christmas Day two years ago. His beautiful mum was Mary, and he has been part of our rescue story from the very beginning.
Sadly, through no fault of his own, Frank now needs a new home where his individual needs can be understood and met.
Following an altercation with the resident cat in his current home, Frank can no longer live with cats. We need to find him somewhere suitable, and we need to find it quickly.
🏡 WHAT DOES FRANK NEED?
🐾 NO CATS. Frank cannot live with cats.
🐾 NO YOUNG CHILDREN. His size and needs mean an adult-focused home is essential.
🐾 POTENTIALLY A NEUTERED FEMALE DOG. With careful introductions and professional assessment, Frank may be able to live with a suitably matched, large-breed female. He can be growly initially, so compatibility must never be rushed or assumed.
🐾 AN EXPERIENCED, CONFIDENT OWNER. Frank is a big lad at almost 50kg. He is strong on the lead and can pull, so he needs someone physically capable of managing him and committed to continued training, patience and consistency.
🐾 A POSITIVE MALE ROLE MODEL. Frank absolutely loves men and would particularly thrive with someone who can offer him reassurance, guidance and clear, consistent boundaries.
❤️ AND WHAT WILL FRANK GIVE YOU IN RETURN?
Underneath that big, powerful body is a boy with so much love to give. Frank needs someone who will see beyond his size, recognise his potential and give him the opportunity to flourish.
He doesn’t need a perfect person. He needs the RIGHT person.
Someone who understands that rescue dogs can come with challenges. Someone who won’t give up when things require patience. Someone who is prepared to put in the work and give Frank the chance he deserves.
🚨 FRANK NEEDS A SUITABLE PLACEMENT ASAP🚨
Without a suitable foster or forever home, he may have to go into kennels. This is something we desperately want to avoid if the right placement can be found in time.
We are asking you, from the bottom of our hearts, please help us reach that person.
We cannot promise Frank will be right for everyone. We can promise that we want to find the right match for him, not just any home.
