After some lovely shaded walks today and playing in the river the dogs got a special treat. Sometimes the dogs are not so keen on drinking when they get back to the van but there was no way they were getting away with it today 😂
I came prepared with 3 bottles of goats milk made with the powder from and the dogs absolutely loved it. Rhubarb refused to get in the van till he had seconds 😂

Due to Anya’s recent health issues it was decided she should retire from blood donation! We are gutted about this as Anya absolutely loved seeing all the biscuit givers when she went to donate however it would not be fair to ask her to try now. Anya donated 12 times in the 3 years she was donating and even gave an emergency donation to a cat (shhhh don’t tell her!!)
This is where I ask for your help. If your dog is over 25kg, over a year old and happy to get lots of treats while visiting the vets, please consider trying them with blood donation.
Every donation could save up to 4 dogs life’s and without this amazing service lots of pets wouldn’t survive.
