I know its still August, but i have to bring up the dreaded 'C' word
CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS
I will have very limited appointments for December this year with family commitments and previously booked engagements. There are NO weekend appointments available this year. The last date I will be working is Friday 18th December and I won't be reopening until Monday 18th January 2027. Some of you will already have dates for December but if you don't please let me know as soon as possible so I can add to the the list

Thank you all my customers this week for being understanding about the short notice of me closing the salon due to high temperature. Due to the position of the salon it is in full sun from 12pm until sundown, plus the dryer will overheat due to pulling in hot air instead of cool.

With the weather doing a dramatic change from rain and cold to a heatwave this week. Remember that missing a walk will not kill your dog but walking them in the heat can. If the ground is hot to the touch your dogs paws will blister so either walk early mirning or late at night Thank you.
If your dog does suffer from heat stroke Do Not throw water over them to cool off as it can cause shock instead lay them on a damp cool not cold towel and mist spray them so that it is a slow cool down.

Thank you to all my customers for their understanding this week when I had to cancel all grooms at short notice due to me having a bad back. Thank you to Stuart Williams for sorting out my back, I'm taking it easy so that its back to normal by next week.
All cancellation now have a new date and time, so i have NO AVAILABILITY until 19th May
