Happy Ellie popped in to see us for TPLO cruciate surgery.
The best patient, eating her medications like sweeties! 😋
Now chilling out at home, showing off her cooling haircut in her specially prepared area that keeps her exercise and enthusiasm for life at just the right level for the start of her rehabilitation.

Lovely Phoebe is such a sweetie with that toothy smile, and she is ready for her discharge home following TPLO surgery to address her ruptured cruciate ligament.
With our individual tailored anaesthetic and medications plans for each patient, we endeavour to make their stay at Coast, a calm and gentle experience.
I'm sure Phoebe is pleased to be back in her own bed again now, starting her recovery and taking life easy until we see her again.

Meet Millie the Maltipoo pup! 🐶
Millie had an unfortunate incident at home and suffered a break to her radius and ulna bones. Millie came to see us for surgery to repair the fracture. She was such a good girl during her stay with us and received lots of fuss and attention from our nurses 😍

Anaesthetic prep for a kitty with a fractured Radius! 🐱

As you can see, there’s lots that our Veterinary Nurses prepare for our patients in order to provide them with a safe and careful general anaesthetic. We use many different pain relief medications delivered via different methods, to keep our patients happy and comfortable throughout surgery and the post-operative period 💊 🩺💉👩🏼‍⚕️ 👨🏼‍⚕️

Kypri is a lovely rescue cat, all the way from Cyprus! 🐱
Unfortunately he was involved in a road traffic accident and sustained left sided pelvic fractures. Kypri underwent surgery to stabilise his pelvis, which involved placement of a screw through his sacroiliac joint. This screw provides stabilisation and pelvic realignment allowing his fractures to heal.
Time to rest up Kypri and we’ll see you in a few weeks 🐾
