The lunchtime bunch doing a brilliant job at welcoming puppy Hondo (left) into the gang πŸ‘Œ Sometimes a rota change can really throw the dynamics out of whack, and everyone has to adapt a bit, but everyone gets A for effort so far πŸ˜ŠπŸ€“

Being a dog walker's dog is a pretty good life in general. Until you're expected to go to work in the wet and you don't have your cagoule to hand 😩❌️☠️

Once in a while I like to (and should) take a break from the cute photos on here, and instead give you guys the occasional example of how we keep ourselves under control, and not be a collective menace to society like professional dog walkers are sometimes so quick to be accused of πŸ₯²
My Monday lunchtime gang, loading themselves back into the van individually once they hear their name. They could easily go and bounce around the car park for 5 minutes of extra fun and get distracted by the public, but they don't WANT to, because getting in the van is what gets them praise from me and is what the rest of their mates are doing πŸ€“
I will never compromise a dog's safety by not using a lead if they need it, but the aim is to always get as many gang members to listen to my voice first, so I've got maximum control options in my arsenal πŸ‘Œ If I'm solely relying on a lead and it breaks, or human error means it gets dropped, and the dog has zero voice control, that's a problem πŸ₯²

I don't usually get to make many hamster friends, as they're always asleep when I'm doing my visits during the daytime. But this little guy has made an effort to come say hi to me every day so far πŸ₯° And he doesn't take a chunk out of your finger as default, which is always a nice bonus πŸ˜„πŸΉ IYKYK
