It was very overdue, but Ava finally got her much needed deshed! ✂️🫧

Don’t forget to groom your own dogs… because apparently even the groomer’s own dog gets away with it! 😂🙈

We just about managed to get away with a bath & deshed this time — and WOW, look at all that fluff! 😳🐶

Of course, Ava has decided that she absolutely hates being groomed. 🤣

So there were plenty of cuddles, kisses and bribery involved to get us through!
But look at her now… clean, fluffy and feeling fabulous! 🥰✨

Lots of cuddles + kisses = the ultimate grooming currency. 💋🐾

This little girl has a very special place in my heart. 💕

I first had the pleasure of grooming Zara at the RSPCA Hull & East Riding Branch and I’m absolutely thrilled to say that she has now been ADOPTED! 🥹🏡❤️

Today, she came to PukkaPooches for her first official groom! ✂️🛁🐶

It was so lovely seeing her again and watching how far she’s come. From her RSPCA days to being a much-loved family pup, what a transformation! 🥰

Freshly brushed, fluffed and looking very handsome, Elton is all set for the rest of the week looking fabulous.

Just look at that happy face! 💙 Pablo loved his time at Pukkapooches, making himself right at home and enjoying plenty of fun, attention and tail wags. 🐶✨

Ava and Penny were there to help him settle in and make him feel right at home. 🥰

The perks of having your own groomer at home… 🐾✂️

Penny wasn’t exactly thrilled about her groom, let’s just say she found the whole experience slightly traumatic! 😂 But we got through it, and look at all that hair! 😳

A Staffy deshed is no joke! You might not think short-haired dogs need grooming, but they can shed an incredible amount. A good deshed helps remove all that loose undercoat, keeps their coat and skin healthier, and means a LOT less hair floating around your home. 🙌🐶

And honestly… every dog needs a groom, whatever their breed or coat type. Grooming isn’t just about looking good — it’s about keeping them comfortable, clean and healthy too. ❤️

The irony? The groomer’s dog absolutely hates being groomed. 🤦‍♀️😂 Typical!

Penny survived, the hair mountain has been conquered, and we’re ready for a snuggle on the sofa. 🐶💕

🌳🐾 Funday Sunday with Elton! 🐾🌳

What better way to spend a Sunday than enjoying a lovely home visit followed by a woodland walk? 💚

Elton had a fantastic time with the PukkaPooch gang! 🐶🐾 Ava and Penny looked after him, kept him company and showed him the way on their woodland adventure. 🌿🍃

Although… Elton had one very important mission — stealing ALL the balls! 😂🎾⚽ He certainly wasn’t interested in sharing!

But with a face that cute, how could we possibly tell him off? 🥹😍🐾

Plenty of fresh air, happy paws, new smells, exploring and ball-stealing made for the perfect Sunday adventure! 💚
