🐾 SUNDAY SPOTLIGHT 🐾
This week’s pup I’m delighted to introduce you to is Teddy! 🐶🤎
Breed: Yorkshire Terrier 🐕
Nicknames: Ted, Teddy Bear & Ted the Bear 🧸
Fun fact: Teddy is missing quite a few teeth so he can sometimes have a wee snaffle tooth now ! 😂🦷
Teddy is actually my mum’s wee dog, and his story is one that makes me SO proud. 🥹❤️
When Teddy was rescued, he was such an anxious and reactive wee soul, terrified of his own shadow! I honestly wish I had some videos from when I first started taking him to the field, because the difference in him now is incredible!
Back then, Teddy would stand right at the bottom of the field by the gate, tail down, warning anyone who came anywhere near him that they needed to back off! 🤬 He would keep himself completely to himself, staying away from all the other dogs and finding his own little space.
But look at him now! 🥹❤️
His tail is up and wagging, he’s happy, confident and actually enjoying himself. Not only is he now comfortable standing near the other dogs, but he’s interacting with them too! A day that myself and my mum both didn’t think would ever come! 🐶🐾
He’s come on SO much, and it’s honestly so lovely to watch his confidence grow. He’s a totally different dog, and I couldn’t be prouder of wee Ted ! 🥹❤️
From the anxious wee boy hiding away at the gate to the happy wee guy we see running around the field today, what a transformation! 🥹🐶❤️
Well done Teddy. You’ve come such a long way! 🧸🐾
