🐾 A little bit about the person behind RH19 Chantal’s Dog Walking & Pet Care 🐾

Hi, I’m Chantal, I’m 51, and as I’m coming up to 4 years running my dog walking and pet care business, I thought I’d tell you a little bit about how it all started. ❤️

Before dog walking, I spent 14 years as cabin crew with Monarch Airlines, eventually becoming a Cabin Manager, responsible for the aircraft cabin, my crew and the safety of everyone onboard.

Safety was absolutely drilled into me during those years, and it’s something I’ve carried straight into my pet care business.

The safety of every dog, cat and small animal in my care will ALWAYS come first. 🐾

When Monarch Airlines sadly collapsed, I cried my eyes out. It really was my dream job and I couldn’t imagine what I was going to do next.

Then I thought…

If I could choose another dream job, what would it be?

The answer was easy.

Working with animals. ❤️

I’ve loved animals all my life. I’ve owned poodles (and experienced the joy of them having puppies!), a cat, budgies, hamsters and I’ve even owned a duck! 🦆😂

Nearly four years later, I honestly couldn’t tell you how many dogs and cats I’ve had the pleasure of caring for — there have been so many! I’ve also cared for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and even a tortoise. 🐢

And I genuinely still LOVE what I do.

When an animal is in my care, I treat them as though they’re my own. I care deeply about every single one of them. I learn their little personalities, their funny ways, what they like and don’t like, and yes… I pretty much melt over every animal I meet. 😂❤️

For me, this has never been “just dog walking”.

It’s about safety, trust, love, respect and knowing that somebody has trusted me with a very important member of their family.

🐾 And completely animal mad!
