šŸ› ļø A Little Update šŸ› ļø

We wanted to share a quick update to let everyone know that weā€™ll be remaining closed for the time being due to delays with our building work.

The work has now begun, but thereā€™s still quite a lot of noise and disruption ahead so we arenā€™t yet able to confirm a reopening date.

Because of this uncertainty, we wonā€™t be taking bookings at this time until we have a clearer idea of a reopening date. Weā€™ll keep this page updated in due course as things progress.

Thank you so much for your kindness, patience, and understanding ā€” it really does mean a lot. šŸ˜Š

āœØ A little pause for Little Menagerie āœØ

Due to upcoming building work, Little Menagerie will be temporarily closed from November 1st 2025 through to at least February 1st 2026 while two extensions are being added to our cottage. šŸ”

The work has come a little sooner than we had expected and with the noise and disruption ahead, we feel itā€™s best to pause boarding during this time to keep everything calm and stress free for the animals. As always, their welfare comes first. šŸ’›

Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
Once the dust has settled, we very much look forward to opening our doors again and welcoming our little boarders back. šŸ˜Š

It has been a beautifully busy season so far, but Iā€™m also realising itā€™s time to rest. Weā€™ll be taking a break at the end of August to recharge and come back refreshed.
Thank you to every family whoā€™s trusted us with your animals - your support means the world. Iā€™ll be posting more about the holiday closure shortly but for now, hereā€™s a catch up of our wonderful summer boarders. šŸ„°

ā€¼ļøIMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING GROOMING SERVICESā€¼ļø

As some of you know, things are a little busier than usual at the moment preparing for our summer boarders and my partner will be going through a medical procedure/recovery.

Because of this, I will not be offering additional grooming services (including nail trimming) during boarding for the time being. If you have booked and requested an additional grooming service, I will send across your amended booking total.

As always please health check your pets prior to boarding with us and ensure they arrive healthy, clean, brushed and nails trimmed (if required).

An important reminder to also please check your pets for mites and signs of parasites prior to check in, we do not accept pets boarding with us that have parasites. This helps ensure everyone stays healthy, happy and comfortable during their stay.

Thank you so much for your understanding with this, it truly means a lot.

āļø NEW SET-UP āļø

We are delighted to say our first project since moving is now finished, we have six boarders currently trying out our new space and they are absolutely loving it!
We have converted what was an extremely run down garage space into our new boarding room which is fully insulated, heated and CCTV is installed. Seeing what the garage was before, we would never have pictured it turning out the way it has. Thank you to all involved in the renovation, we honestly just canā€™t thank everyone enough for the help. It has turned into a beautiful space to run Little Menagerie. šŸ°šŸ’›
