Borders Pet Rescue BORDERS PET RESCUE: because animals matter. We are a small, independent animal rescue charity based in the Scottish Borders, in operation since 1988.

We rely on public donations to help us find suitable loving homes for abandoned and unwanted pets. Borders Pet Rescue take in dogs, cats, small animals & Exotics that are no longer able to be looked after in their present homes for whatever reason. We receive no funding and rely totally on donations from the public to fund our work.

Our 2-year-old Saluki Cross Ginger is full of love, full of beans and firmly believes everyone she meets should be her pal!

She’s got the ginger glow, the Scottish charm and the personality to match.

Maisie is 3yrs old and is looking for a home with access to Indoor/Outdoors in a quiet area, No cats, and can live with children over 14yrs.

Maisie is a sweet girl who can take a little time getting to know you, however once she decides you are friends, she will be the best little friend you ever had. Maisie loves her food, going on mini adventures and then curling up in a cosy bed.

Maisie is a clean girl and is litter-trained.

This lovely boy doesn’t just sit beside you for a cuddle… he properly cuddles you.

He leans in, snuggles close and makes you feel like you’re exactly where he wants you to be. And if there’s food involved? Even better! 😻

Eating is one of Sawyer’s absolute favourite things to do, and he certainly doesn’t believe in missing a meal!

Sadly, Sawyer has a growth on his jaw which is suspected to be cancerous. For now, we want to keep him comfortable, happy and enjoying his favourite things, especially his dinner!

There may be difficult decisions ahead, but his welfare will always come first.

For now, we’re looking for someone special to give Sawyer a loving home, full of cuddles, favourite meals and precious moments. ❤️

When Stevie arrived, she was suffering terribly from cat flu. Her eyes were red, sore and almost closed, and she had a painful eye ulcer. 💔

Look at her now! Thanks to veterinary treatment, dedicated care and your kind donations, Stevie’s eye ulcer has healed, her eye has been saved, and she’s feeling so much happier and more comfortable. ❤️

Sadly, we still have other little kittens suffering terribly from cat flu who need ongoing treatment, medication and lots of care.
