Borders Pet Rescue BORDERS PET RESCUE: because animals matter. We are a small, independent animal rescue charity based in the Scottish Borders, in operation since 1988.

We rely on public donations to help us find suitable loving homes for abandoned and unwanted pets. Borders Pet Rescue take in dogs, cats, small animals & Exotics that are no longer able to be looked after in their present homes for whatever reason. We receive no funding and rely totally on donations from the public to fund our work.

Meet Tavish (3) and Orson (2), two friendly black male cats who are both looking for loving forever
homes.

Although they are both wonderful cats, Tavish and Orson need to be rehomed separately. We are looking for a special home for each of them where they can settle in, feel safe and enjoy all the love and attention they deserve.

Both Tavish and Orson are looking for:
Indoor and outdoor access
To be the only pet in the household
A home with children aged 14 or over

Milo is filling in as receptionist in the office today while he recovers from his castration yesterday — and he’s taking his new position very seriously! 📋🐶

He’s currently supervising staff, monitoring snack levels and making sure everyone knows who’s really in charge. 😂

Milo is still looking for his forever home, so get your adoption application forms in! 🏡❤️

Milo will personally review all applications and will be looking for someone with excellent snack provision, strong cuddle credentials and, ideally, a comfy sofa.

Some things are simply meant to be together… tea and toast, fish and chips, gin and tonic… and Tea & Toast! 😂

These two semi-feral characters are together ALL the time — because, quite frankly, you can’t have one without the other! ❤️

And what better life for this inseparable pair than to wonder around rural grounds, enjoying the fresh country air, plenty of space to explore and a peaceful life away from the hustle and bustle of urban living.

No traffic jams, no city noise, no busy streets… just Tea, Toast and a whole lot of countryside!
