Yesterday we lost the amazing & brave boy Jensen, he put up such a fight but unfortunately these little beings can only fight so much, his amazing brave mam Shaz Johnson helped him to the Rainbow Bridge where his little brother Senna is waiting for him & his big brother Hamilton & Penny & meg ❤️
His mam Shaz is the best pug mam I know & after only losing Senna in May this year we feel the heartbreak she is feeling and she is in our prayers ❤️run free little Jensen

🐶 Scampi 🐶

Scampi (3 yrs, male) has come into our care this week after his owner reached out for support due to a change in their family dynamic. He is quite overweight so has started a healthy eating regime to help him gently lose some of his excess weight and get down to a more slender size. It is likely Scampi will need BOAS surgery too as his breathing is very strained and he struggles to walk more than 5-10 minutes without collapsing. We will have him assessed by our own vet, but are aware his previous vet recommended surgery at a prior appointment. Aside from his health issues, he is a social and playful boy, who has settled in well with his foster family. He will no doubt thrive once his weight and breathing issues have been addressed and will be able to enjoy lovely walks in the countryside.
