I just wanted to give a final update regarding my return to work.
Following a number of recent hospital admissions and after a lot of careful thought and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to remain off work while I focus on my recovery. At this stage, I do not expect to return any earlier than August, although I will keep everyone updated as things progress.
I would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. I absolutely love my job, my clients, and all of your wonderful dogs, but right now my health and recovery need to be my priority so that I can return when I am able to give my best again.
I completely understand that some clients may need to make alternative arrangements or find a replacement walker while I am away, and I hold no hard feelings whatsoever. Your dogs’ care and wellbeing will always come first, and I am incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty you have shown me.
Thank you so much to everyone who has checked in on me, sent kind messages, and been so understanding during this difficult time. Your support has meant more than you know and it certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed.
This hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but I know it’s the right one.
