🌈 In Loving Memory of Betty 🐾

On Tuesday we said goodbye to little Betty, a very special Fox Terrier, who I have had the absolute privilege of looking after for the past 11 years.

Betty was such a proper little character — a tiny girl with a huge personality, and yes… a rather yappy little character who certainly knew how to make her presence known! 😂❤️ But that was Betty, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing about her.

Over 11 years, she became such a special part of our lives. We watched her grow, cared for her, loved her, and made so many wonderful memories with her. She will leave a very big paw print on our hearts.

Sadly, Betty became unwell recently and, heartbreakingly, went downhill very quickly. Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for a much-loved dog is to let them go peacefully when they are suffering.

Our hearts go out to her Mum and Dad who loved their beautiful girl so very much. There is never enough time with them, and saying goodbye is incredibly hard.

I don’t know how to start explaining this week. Two very special boys, forever in our hearts.

On Monday, we said goodbye to our dear old boy, Bud Fox; at the wonderful age of 16. You slipped away peacefully in my arms, wrapped in cuddles and kisses, knowing only love until your very last breath. Thank you for your years of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love. You gave us a lifetime of precious memories, and we will treasure every one 💙💙

And today, to hear of the passing of our beautiful little Wilf… how do we find the words? Just five years old, your life was far too short. You were the sweetest, most gorgeous little boy, full of love, laughter, and endless loyalty. You made us smile every day you spent here with us, with your funny ways and your gentle heart. It is impossible to understand why you were taken from us so cruelly and so soon 😢 😭 Our hearts go out to your mum and dad and your sis Mabel xx

The house will never feel quite the same without you both living/coming here. One left us after a long, well-lived life, the other before his time, but the love you gave us was immeasurable.

Run free together now, precious boys. Chase the sunshine, feel the wind in your fur, and know that you will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be missed beyond words.

Sweet little Millii, our hearts are broken. For five wonderful years, I had the joy of looking after you. You had the purest little heart — gentle, loving, and full of life. You were the friendliest little girl, always happy to meet everyone; dogs and people alike, with that cheeky sparkle in your eyes.

You brought so much love and you will be so deeply missed, Millii, but we’ll hold on to every precious memory. Sleep easy over rainbow bridge, sweet, sweet girl 😭❤️🌈 ###x
