This weekend we had members competing at SKC in Kelso and also Longfield show
Well done to Carol and Pepsi with an agility win 🥇👏👏, Tracy and Dillon with a jumping win 🥇 👏👏, Maddy and Tyler who qualified for yet another Crufts event - Dog of Year 🤩🥇👏👏, Yvonne and Tilly brought two 2nd place jumping runs home 👏👏👏 and my boys also brought some ribbons home Heath an agility win and Reid took 3rd in the same class 🥇👏👏

A few members made the trip to RKCIF last week - it’s was very hot and the ground was less than perfect so not all entered runs were done, still some great results 😊
Richard and Floyd winning grade 4 jumping 👏👏🥳
Maddy and Tyler won the YKC agility dog of the year agility round 🤩🥇👏 they were also semi finalists in the stakes class and Luna had a fabulous time walking round the stalls 🐾🐾

Reid and Heath both running clear and gaining places in agility and jumping classes 😍
Rio running a fab clear in veterans - he finished 29th out of over a 100 dogs - and had the best time 🤩

Reid’s run in the 5-7 semi final stakes class - he was a bit distracted initially and a little over excited but I’m over the moon with how he ran - we had an absolute ball and he held his own against some of the best in the country 🥰🐾

Thank you, thank you, thank you

What a great weekend we had at our show, many people to thank.

Firstly the judges who put up some fabulous courses and giving up their day so we can play, also to their scribes who play a very important role to the judge.

The ring parties, which we had more than ever this year was a huge help, you all played a huge part in making the rings run smoothly and also really helped our small membership have stress free days. Thank you to anyone who helped in any way on the ring, this was greatly appreciated.

The raffle for MND which we run in memory of Margaret Bill has so far reached over £450, so thank you for buying tickets or giving donations.

And lastly thanking all competitors there on Saturday joining Weardale and Otley club to show our respect for Jen Lewis, it was very emotional but to see everyone being so respectful shows how the agility community come together.
