This afternoon we received the devastating news that no yard wants to hear, following - a mare showing strange symptoms she was isolated and received treatment from the vets, mainly eye related issues however a strangles test was conducted due to the mare presenting with a high temperature. This has unfortunatley come back positive - so our yard is now on full lock down - we currently only have this one horse showing symptoms - we are following all veterinary protocols.
Our primary concern is keeping our equine friends healthy.
What this means is our Summer Series Dressage final will not go ahead and dressage championships will be decided on the seasons results - and all throphies can stay with last years recipients for another year ! and our Rustic Ride is now closed until we have the all clear.
