What a fabulous day in Sheffield this week! 🐴📸

I travelled down to Sheffield for a fantastic equine photography workshop with the very talented Pandora, Pandora Images Photography.

It was a jam-packed day, starting at a local racing stables where we photographed racehorses being exercised, before getting the chance to capture them being washed down afterwards.

We then headed to a beautiful woodland location with a stream, where we had the opportunity to photograph a number of horses and riders in different settings, with the autumn colours providing the perfect backdrop.

A huge thank you to all the riders and helpers who gave up their time to make the day possible. It was lovely meeting you all, and your horses were absolutely amazing!

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, learnt lots and came away with some images I'm really pleased with (lots more to edit!).

I think you'll agree, the horses and their riders look fabulous! ❤️🐴

Every donation helps us continue caring for dogs and cats across the North East who need us, so while your pet is competing for glory, you’ll be helping animals in our care too. 🐾

We’ll crown both a dog winner and a cat winner in each category, with winners receiving their very own NDACS rosette and other prizes up for grabs!🎉

And, of course, two pets will take home our biggest titles…

What a lovely start to the weekend — a 5-star review from Dave! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s always a slightly nerve-racking moment showing a client their finished images. What will they think? Will they love them? So it’s always lovely to receive such wonderful feedback afterwards.

Dave received Pepper’s portrait session as a Christmas present, and Pepper was just the sweetest little dog to photograph. It was an absolute pleasure capturing her personality.

The seasons are changing and autumn is definitely on its way. This is probably my favourite time of year, cool mornings with soft light and autumn colours starting to emerge. Out with Maisie in the woods on a beautiful morning like this just sets me up for the rest of the day.

Perhaps you have a handsome fella, a prettiest lady, a golden oldie or a dog with more character than the rest of the family. There’s even a Best Six Legs class for dogs and their owners!
