When you take on 2 “unbondable” bunnies from a well know rabbit bonder as in their words they described them as “2 aggressive bunnies, in all my years I’ve never dealt with 2 bunnies like this” I was very sceptical if I should even bother after also seeing the previous bonders bitten, bloody, swollen and scared arm from when she had to intervene to seperate them after a fight I can honestly say I felt sick about even having to attempt this. I’m someone that has time and patience and tries to understand why the rabbit may react or behave in the manor it is. This has been the hardest pair bond of bunnies I have ever taken on but in time I eventually got to the bottom of them and I now have successfully bonded the “unbondable” bunnies! Trevor and lilo took all my skills and experience to get this to work but I am thrilled I have achieved this as I am only self taught and everything I have learnt is from my own bonding experiences. Over the next few days we will be increasing space and Trevor and lilo are set to go home next weekend.

Day three and we’ve introduced litter trays. I don’t introduce a litter tray straight away as some bunnies can get territorial over them I let the bond start and get to a steady level before I add them. We’ve had a few minor nips here and there but overall they are doing great and I’m so pleased! 🙏

Today two sets of completed bonds go home. Tansy, Berry, Thistle and Marbel are off home to Lorna after a complicated bond but I eventually broke them and got them to work 💪 And also Patch and Possy are off home to Claire after just a week. I would love to say I’m having a bonding break but no such luck the next two pairs arrive today for me to quad before Xmas for Charlotte 😬😬
