At Furry Tails Dungiven, we understand that caring for a senior dog can require a little more patience, attention and understanding. ❤️
Some of our older guests may be blind, deaf, have limited mobility or need regular medication. That doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy a comfortable and peaceful stay away from home.
This lovely little senior is both blind and deaf and requires medication. During their stay, we make sure they feel safe and secure, keep their routine as familiar as possible, provide their medication as instructed by their owner, and give them plenty of gentle attention, comfort and reassurance. 🥰
For elderly dogs, a calm environment and familiar routine can make a huge difference. We take things at their pace — no pressure, no rushing, just patience, kindness and lots of love.
Because sometimes the dogs who need a little extra care are the ones who need us the most. ❤️🐶
