Opening Times:
Part-time, open as required by the Management Committee;
Available for day and evening functions on request. Resources:
• baby changing facilities
• disabled parking at West Car Park, Low Causeway, Culross
• disabled toilets
• enclosed courtyard
• kitchen
• main hall - maximum 80 (upstairs, accessible by chair lift)
• meeting room - maximum 40
• parking at West Car Park, Low Causeway, Culross (free)
• shower facility
• stair lift
• table and chair hire

Accessibility:

There is a range of activities for all age groups. Culross Stables is only available for private hire to residents of Culross and Low Valleyfield and whilst every effort will be made to accommodate your request, this may not always be possible due to staffing constraints. Please note the building is not available for hire for 16th/18th/21st birthday parties. Culross Stables Community Hub is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered in Scotland with registered number SC052019 and has its registered office at 4 Balgownie West, Culross, KY12 8JL.

🏡 Culross Stables Community Hub - August Update

Summer Highlights
What a wonderful summer it’s been at the Stables! While Bert the Baker, Betty Broth, our brilliant volunteers and Trustees enjoyed a well-earned break over the school holidays, the time wasn’t wasted - the upstairs space and both stairwells have had a fabulous fresh redecoration.

We also had the pleasure of hosting the SCOTO Press Pause follow-up meeting with Culross Community Council, which is exploring the impact of tourism on our community.

Over the summer, Stickman hosted ten sell-out Supper Clubs under canvas in the outdoor courtyard to tremendous reviews, helping to raise significant funds for the Stables - a great success! As we move into autumn, the Supper Club will continue on a more ad-hoc basis, so please keep an eye on Stickman’s page for dates.

It’s been so lovely to welcome everyone back through the doors! With the return of the schools came the return of the Seniors & Carers’ Lunch, Betty’s Brunch, the Community Bakery and Community Crust - both weeks have been completely sold out, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful support from our community!

Summer spruce up of Culross Stables gets underway next week to be all s**c n span in time for our re-opening of Culross Bakery and Community Crust on Friday 21/8.

Meantime, Barking Brew each Monday and our evening classes continue as usual.

Ps. next Supper Club is on Wednesday 19/8, places filling up fast. Please contact Stickman to reserve your table.
