Today I found out it was Miss Bea's 2nd gotcha day, and I couldn't let it pass without a post about this very special girl who touches the hearts of everyone she meets.
Beatrice started life as a street dog in Doha, and when I met her, just a few days after arriving in the UK, I can honestly say I have never met a dog so terrified of life. I honestly questioned whether I was the right fit for her, whether I could give her what she needed, but I decided I needed to give it a try, and I can't tell you how happy I am that I did! The first few walks were definitely stressful for us both, but gradually this frightened little dog started to come out of her shell, started to trust and started to want to interact, with both me and the other dogs!
These days it's almost hard to believe that she's the same dog! She's so happy, loving and playful, and I get the best welcomes upon collecting her for her walks. She is an absolute superstar and I couldn't love her more! Happy gotcha day Queen Bea!
