Drop into the Learning Room any time between 1 - 2:30pm on Sunday to meet Laura Darling, a published illustrator. She will be here as part of Dundee Play Festival 2026 - check it out if you haven't already, lots of good stuff happening around the city!

Perfect for families of all ages, just bring your imagination and Laura will help you with the rest! Draw, create and most of all, have fun!

No need to book, free drop in session for everyone, all ages and all abilities ❤️

Head into the zoo if you like before or after going to Laura's free workshop - regular admission fees will apply for entry 🐒

Sending a big thank you to anyone who sent the bears some gifts from our Amazon Wishlist!🐻

We don't have the names of who sent most of the packages, so please send us a message if you ordered something so we can thank you directly! Veronica Thomson very kindly sent bottles of bubbles and the (very well received!) salmon fish oil! 🫧

They had great fun finding and eating the popcorn, honey, crunchy peanut butter and fish oils and playing with their new traffic cones (and the box!)🧡

Some snaps from the Bear's Birthday Party!🥳
Birthday cakes made by Katie the Keeper and filled with fruit, vegetables and other tasty treats by some of the first guests to arrive at the party. Later in the afternoon they were given their next meal in lots of party bags and boxes, filled and decorated by more party guests🎁
Poppy Bubbles was a hit with the bears too - they loved catching all the bubbles! 🫧
