So, I know a good few have asked after Zelda as this year has been a waiting game for her impending hip replacement. Back in July it was cancelled for a 2rd time with no indication of it being rescheduled. I called frequently to see if there was any updates, to be told no, they weren't sure when the vet was returning i was reassured he was at the beginning.
The call a few weeks ago I was finally given the information that no he was not returning, but they are training 2 further vets for this procedure which may take a couple of months.
I had a burst of overwhelming emotions, questioning how long they actually had this information, in reality that wasnt going to change anything or benifit Zelda, so I called another vet practice I was sure offered the surgery. They do!! So this week we start again, princess Zelda goes in Thursday to get her CT scans redone and hopefully start the ball rolling (no pun intended) on her new hip.
She is struggling more now, walks are short, and she is just getting lots of loves ❤️
