Our modern, well equipped surgery has two consulting rooms, operating + x-ray facilities + a wide range of diagnostic equipment including ultrasound + an in-house laboratory. We maintain a well stocked dispensary + can prescribe the most effective flea + worm preparations available. Our practice is wholly veterinary owned with

no corporate shareholders + has been caring for the animals of Dumfries + Lower Nithsdale from Charnwood Road since 1937.

We would like to introduce Megan, the newest member of Charnwood Vets!

Megan joined us in August, after spending the last year working in Ireland she has decided to move closer to home.

She had the pleasure of giving Bonnie her first puppy vaccination today, and enjoys both farm and small animal practice.

We have had an older male neutered ginger cat handed in to us this afternoon from the Lincluden area.
He unfortunately has no microchip.

We have had this friendly stray cat presented to us, found in Makbrar Crescent in Georgetown.
He is male, not neutered and doesn’t have a microchip.
