Dumfries and Galloway Buisness Awards 2026🐾🍾

Wow what an amazing night!
To be selected as a finalist for “Young Entrepreneur of the year “ in such a tough category was a massive achievement for Pawlished Grooming so early on in my career! Thank you DG Chamber🐾
Unfortunately no award this time, but a massive congratulations to Wild Dook Sauna on winning the award it was so deserved! Also a big well done to the other amazing businesses in this category Kirsty Adamson Collective & Drama Kleenz LTD 👏🏻✨
Being self employed you don’t see a lot of the constant work that is always going on behind the scenes. To be in the final was great recognition for my hard work, that I’m going in the right direction with Pawlished and others see it too🥰

I had the best night celebrating with my family and friends, catching up with people, and meeting lovely Buisness owners as well.
Thank you again to all my customers, your support means so much, it allows my small business to operate and lets me continue to do what I love for a living each day. I wouldn’t of been selected without your ongoing support🩷
I’ll continue to put everything back into this business, to give you the best service and grow Pawlished even more. Hopefully we will be asked back for another year 🍾🐾

Tick seasons arrived🪳🐾

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine ☀️
However, as the warmer weather approaches I have seen a significant increase of dogs coming in with ticks. The hot weather means ticks become more active and prone to attach to your dogs!
It’s so important to be on the look out and doing daily checks to prevent illness and disease in your pets🐾

👀🛁Here at Pawlished every dog gets a free flea and tick shampoo treatment with every bath, as well as a full check over/tick removal.
However if you notice one on your dog at home please do not wait for them to come in for removal, research how to remove properly and safely or phone your vet or myself for alternative help.🐾🩷

Hi everyone,
That’s the rest of May fully booked! The first week of June has a few spaces left💐🐾
All messages will be answered by the end of today, the last two weeks have been as busy as the Christmas rush, with a lot of late finshes I haven’t had a chance to get back to everyone.
For June I will be closed on the 5th and the 18th-21st.
Can all outstanding bank transfer payments be sent today also.

Well what can I say……. I am shocked and so happy to receive the news today that
Pawlished Grooming has made it to the final in the DG Chamber Buisness Awards 2026 in the category of ‘Young Entrepreneur of The Year’!!! 🥹🥳🐾

Deciding to retrain after university and go self employed in a completely new field at 21 was very daunting but I can honestly say 15 months later it’s the best decision of my life!!

From training, getting my wee hut ready, advertising, leafleting and opening with no customers I have worked so hard and I’m happy to be able to say it was worth it and I’m busier than ever🥳

The 1:1 care I give my dogs is so important to me….its not about the numbers it’s ensuring each dog leaves happy (looking and smelling fab) and running back to me at their next appointment drop off🥰

This wouldn’t be possible without my amazing clients and their gorgeous dogs…..you make my job so easy and your ongoing support of my small business is so appreciated!

Best of luck to everyone who has made the final, it’s going to be a great night I can’t wait🥰🐾🥂🥳

Happy National Pet Day to all my lovely dogs that I get to make look pretty and build relationships with every appointment 💕
Here’s my 4 boys who made me want to work with dogs everyday🐾
Alfie and buster who I grew up with and love & miss every day❤️‍🩹
And Bertie and Winston who my co-owners and personal security (mostly Bert who makes it his job to be a bouncer at the window for every customer as most of yous know🤣) here at Pawlished✂️
We are grateful for all the love and memories they bring to our family that we will cherish forever❤️
