Job Opportunity 🐱🐶🐰🐹🪿🐔🦜

We are seeking a keen enthusiastic and friendly RVN to join our INDEPENDENT small animal, 5 Vet, 7 RVN team. Situated in the heart of Dumfries, south west Scotland. The town has a significant variety of facilities, and beautiful surrounding countryside. There are good transport links to the central belt and the Lake District. Dumfries is also famous for its association with Robert Burns, Scotlands foremost poet, from which the Bard Vets takes its name.

The role would involve clinical and surgical nursing, monitoring anaesthesia, intensive patient care and some reception duties. We are running some nurse consults, which in time we hope to expand. On call duties are well remunerated and shared, based on currently a 1 in 5 weekend and evening rota, though can vary. Practice pays RCVS fees and offers a cpd budget.

After 43 years of dedicated service, we said a fond farewell to Alan yesterday as he hung up his stethoscope and retired. Throughout his career, Alan has worked tirelessly, building lasting relationships with both patients and clients, and he will be greatly missed by both clients and staff alike. We wish him every happiness in his next chapter and hope he enjoys a truly well-deserved retirement 🐾🩺
