Formerly The Happy Hounds House for home boarding, we have now transitioned over to the new business, where we do pet pop-ins, cat feeds, and pet sitting in the pets’ own home. Fully licensed by NEDDC and with over 20 years experience, you can relax and enjoy your holiday/break, knowing that your beloved family dog is enjoying a holiday of their own in a home away from home. We aim to maintain the

ir usual feeding and walking routine to minimise any stress, and being in Derbyshire we have some fabulous walks available to us. We can do the big hikes, or the little round the block walks, depending on the age and agility of your dog. You can find lots of photos and videos of the dogs having fun or lazing around the house, which of course will ease your mind if you can see them whilst you are away.

Sooooo hard to write this post, but we have lost a big part of our hearts and our lives. Monty made so many friends over the years, and we had the most amazing times. At 8 years old, this is just SO unfair, and so unexpected. They’re never here long enough, but should never go this soon. Miss you so much gorgeous boy.❤️💔❤️

🐶 A little reminder for dog owners 🐶

Ear cleaning isn’t something that should only be done when your dog comes in for a groom. Just like brushing their coat, keeping their ears clean should be part of their regular routine at home.

Please note, to make it faster drying we do recommend a towel.
