This poor little one came in at 129g covered in flystrike and maggots and very cold.
Rushing Luca quickly off the heat mat we assess on, the first thing I did was weigh to give her pain relief and some under the skin fluids. Work could then start on removing all the visible fly eggs and maggots from her head, spines and underbelly as gently as possible. A spray of F10 then made more maggots emerge from her ears and a**s which were also removed. By now she was coming to life a bit, it’s amazing what heat and fluids can achieve and I had been working on her for over an hour. A few hours in the incubator now needed with frequent checks incase I missed anything

luca came in to us with an abundance of ticks. As I’m working on him Titch came in with a lot of fly strike so needed my attention immediately so Luca went into the nearest safe place which just happened to be the incubator.
An hour plus later his cage was ready for him and this is how he was found, fast asleep on the hoglets turtle probably wondering why it was called an incubator when there was no heat.

Following the video and fed another 3 it’s now time to play musical pods. There is one heat mat under 2 pods so Tizers heat needs To go up but Tilly’s doesn’t.
Little Prickles need top heat so will go next to Tizer.
The four siblings Watson, Milly, Mouse and Henrietta can stay where they are as all on the same heat
Kit is on the heat Tilly needs so just one cage to set up then Tilly’s cage given a good clean and disinfect then Prickles will be ready

Take two is on reels for some reason I could only find the last sentence on the first take so I tried it again and that one ended up in reels do have a watch. There is no beginning to my tech knowledge but I’m happy to have a go Enjoy
