Downham Pet Support Pet sitting, dog walking, cat and small animal visits & animal behaviour advice. Services tailored to owners needs.

I have an Animal Behaviour Degree, DBS and am fully insured. Please note,I do not offer home boarding or overnight stays in owners' homes. I am a qualified animal behaviourist and have a Diploma in Animal Management and a Degree in Applied Animal Behaviour. I have volunteered for two national animal charities for around 4 years which has given me a wealth of experience in working with a diverse range of cats and dogs. I have spent a lot of time with nervous animals and animals with potential behavioural problems, helping them become less fearful and anxious about various triggers and situations. I am incredibly passionate about animal welfare and putting the needs of every individual animal first which is why I started a pet support service. I believe it's important for animals to be able to stay in their own homes when owners are away as it's potentially less stressful for them than having to go to a cattery or kennel. I am very flexible, I am also available at short notice and recognise that all owners have specific and individual preferences and requirements for their pets which is why I tailor all my services in accordance with what is best for the pet and their owner.

And...thats another week wrapped! Downham Pet Support

I've just finished a week long pop in visits for the beautiful duo, Princess and Milo who have been so content staying in their own home with twice daily visits.

Also on Team Cats, I've been looking after Simon, Molly, Gino, Lilo and Stitch, Ruby, Agatha and Lottie who have all been equally content.

As usual, I've walked half way around West Norfolk with our dog crew and its been just fab.

Shout out again to Barkers DBS who have been so wonderful in helping little Rexy gain his confidence out and about town.

Also, I've been doing some training with Poppy the past week or help with her pulling. She's done brilliantly and is so obedient at checking in, remembering who is the boss! 😄

We've also started helping Rex doing some training to decompress after his walks and he did great this week! 👌

I've just started looking after lovely Leia and Weasley who are regulars and I love spending time with them both.

Hope everyones had a great weekend, the weather is looking a bit 😬 this week so if all dog owners could please leave towels out thank you. 🙏

Here at Downham Pet Support, we're always super honest with owners and their pets if there's any concerns about their animals.

Unfortunately I had to do a bit of an SAS interrogation with Woody today on the side of the road who I have to say was fairly uncooperative but he is forgiven because he is my bestie. 😂

NB- He has been known once to let himself out for a walk alone so it isn't totally impossible to imagine he took himself for a walk to the drive through at Maccie D's. 😂

End of week round up! 43 miles walked, its interesting to know thats the equivalent of eating 68 eggs! 😵‍💫🤪

On Team Dogs this week we've walked -
Rosie, Scamper, Elsie, Woody, Ruby, Ringo, Rex Poppy, Bonnie, Clive, Rexy, Bella, Leia, Weasley, Oakley, Ringo and Scamper.

We've popped in on garden visits for Dottie, Moss, Rosie and Skipper.

On Team Cats, I've just finished looking after lovely Beau and Millie for 3 weeks who with some behavioural advice to their owners, now live in harmony which is just fabulous.

Also on Team Cats, I've done daily pop in visits for Agatha, Lottie, Monty and Ruby.

I've managed to recharge my batteries and had a non-guilt afternoon nap yesterday for 3 hours!

We are now ready for the week ahead which thankfully looks to be a little quieter 😌

This week I've just started doing some training walks with the lovely Poppy and after just 4 walks, she is absolutely bossing it! 🏆

So today she proudly wanted to show off her prize to you all...❤️

So Scamper wanted to go in the river yesterday...❤️

There's something so beautiful watching dogs play in the water, don't you think?

He made it out safely without Jaws coming for him, as it was only in The River Wissey..😂
