As a pet owner myself, I know how disconcerting it is having to leave your much-loved pet under the care of others, especially someone you don’t know. I hope telling you a little about myself will help alleviate some fears and offer a little reassurance. My name is Joanna. My life has always been very animal centered, most recently with cats, dogs and horses. I am very passionate about animal welf

are, committed to providing the absolute best for all animals in my care. I am naturally a quiet person, friendly, gentle and patient. My previous work has always been in positions of trust. I worked with young children in a pre-school setting for many years, often taking on the role of 1:1 support worker for children with special educational needs. Most recently, I worked as a private cleaner for those who needed a bit of extra help around the home. My decision to take up cleaning was made following the diagnosis of my horses ill health. With my commitment to him as my driving force, cleaning provided me with the flexible hours I required to meet his increased need. I nursed him for 2 years until he sadly passed. The passing of my beloved horse has, in part, fuelled my decision to push forward with my dream of working with animals. So here is Sights and Sniffs!

🚨Important information if you’re going on holiday!‼️

☀️ With summer fast approaching, we’d like to remind all clients about making arrangements for their pets while you’re away on holiday 🐾

If your pet is staying in kennels, a cattery, with a pet sitter, family member, or friend, we require written consent from you confirming a nominated person who is authorised to present your pet for veterinary care and act as your representative/liaison while you are unavailable.

This nominated person will be able to bring your pet in, receive updates from the practice, and communicate with us regarding ongoing care. Clinical decisions and consent for treatment can remain with you as the owner, unless you choose to delegate this responsibility explicitly.

Having this in place before you travel helps avoid delays and ensures your pet can receive prompt care if needed 💚

It's been a very busy week with this gorgeous lot. Lots of exploring and enjoying the lovely weather ☀️

Next week is looking to be a scorcher and your pets safety is always my main concern.
With this in mind walks may be shortened, swapped to home visits or cancelled as appropriate.
I will be keeping a close eye on the forecast and err on the side of caution.

Please do reach out if you'd like to cancel any booked walks or change their timings to avoid the worst of the heat.

With the school holidays finished, I'm so excited to have all my regular, and much loved, furry friends back for more fun and adventures.
This week I got to see Pepsi again. She is just so full of fun! I've also been getting to know new boy Max and he's doing so well!
