🐶🐴 REDUCED RATE CLINICAL LOG BOOK SESSIONS

As I start my second year of my Veterinary Physiotherapy degree, I’m looking for suitable horses and dogs to take part in sessions for my clinical skills log books.

Student sessions will be offered at a significantly reduced rate ✨

Each appointment will include a full assessment and appropriate, Individualised treatment for your horse or dog. I’m also particularly interested in animals who may benefit from follow-up appointments, allowing me to monitor their progress throughout the academic year.

📍I am fully mobile and covering East Dorset and surrounding areas.
📄 Veterinary consent will be required - Don’t worry, I will sort that from my end!

Meet Chief 🐴

Chief is my 15-year-old New Forest X.

He was an all-rounder and we also regularly competed in dressage until he decided to single-handedly keep my lovely vet in work with a series of injuries!

Chief sustained hind suspensory injuries, developed arthritic changes in his hocks, and later sustained a tear to a tendon sheath. He underwent surgery and recovered well, but still has a subtle lameness, so he is now happily enjoying an early retirement!

Although Chief isn’t in work anymore, keeping him comfortable is still really important to me. Like many horses with previously diagnosed injuries, he develops areas of compensation and massage therapy forms part of his ongoing management, helping to reduce muscle tension, ease stiffness and support his mobility.

Massage isn’t just for competition horses or those in active work. Senior horses and retired horses can all benefit from regular treatment to support their comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing. ❤️

My name is Chelsea, I am a fully qualified and insured equine and canine massage therapist and I am currently studying for my degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy!
I own two horses and a dog 🐴🐴🐶

📍 Location

I offer equine and canine massage services throughout East Dorset and the surrounding areas.

✍🏻 Before Your Appointment

Veterinary consent and a completed client information form are required before treatment. Simply provide your vet's details, and I'll happily arrange the consent process for you.

📆 Appointments

Appointments are currently available on weekends and weekday evenings. Availability is limited, so please get in touch to book in!

Your first appointment will include a full history taken of your animal, static and dynamic assessment and massage treatment. Follow up appointments will include updated assessment and massage treatment.
Appointments will last approximately 60 minutes for equine and 45 minutes for canine. Initial appointments will be slightly longer.
